The main goal of the social project 'All-Ukrainian Educational Program 'Politeness on road' developed by 'Trade House - NIKO' Ltd. is development of the culture of polite behavior on the road and improvement of the level of knowledge of Traffic Rules by children of preschool and school age. The urgency of the program leaves no doubt, since according to the statistics every second traffic accident with participation of children occurs due to nonobservance of elementary rules of behavior on the road, whereas the main causers of the accident are kids aged 5 to 10. It is worth mentioning that the main difference of this project fr om other similar programs is its comprehensive approach and timeless nature.
Fr om the moment of the project launching in July 1, 2007 and up to now the following activities have been implemented within 'All-Ukrainian Educational Program 'Politeness on road':

1. Holding of the contest of drawings about observance of the Traffic Rules (July 1 – September 15, 2007). As a result over 500 works of young traffic participants were collected with a winner of the contest being chosen from among the authors.

2. Development and production of educational stands about the Traffic Rules and their placement in all schools and kindergartens in the city of Kyiv. Unique awareness raising stands have been developed and offered to children in the interactive and live form as eye-catching and memorable drawings. According to teachers and psychologists, the unusual form of presenting the information help children to better learn the Traffic Rules.

3. Creation of the first puppet show in Ukraine for the whole family called 'Mystery of the Road Queen'. On September 21, 2007, Kyiv Academic Puppet Theater held a premier of the performance called 'Mystery of the Road Queen', which is in the theater’s permanent repertoire and enjoys much popularity with the young audience.

4. Organization of charitable puppet shows 'Mystery of the Road Queen' for children in care of the AUCF 'Krona', the Administration of Traffic Police of the GUMVD of Ukraine in Kyiv and Kyiv social services. During 2008, 3 charitable shows were organized for over 1,120 orphan children and school children.

5. Conduction of the first Contest for knowledge of the Traffic Rules among Ukrainian school children. In April and May 2008, hundreds of Kyiv school children competed for the title of the best expert in the Traffic Rules. Thirty 10- and 11-graders made it to the final: 17 persons got driving license based on test results (the documents will be given to the winners as soon as they turn 18), wh ereas 3 persons received precious prizes from 'Trade House - NIKO'.

6. Development and release of literature for kids about the Traffic Rules. The main hero of two children books 'Mytsyk Adventures' and 'Mytsyk Family' was a car, which narrates about observance of the main Traffic Rules in the form of verses and development-oriented assignments. From September to December 2008 over 65,000 copies of the book 'Mytsyk Adventures' was sold to children of preschool and school age.

7. Conduction of the joint event with the Administration of Traffic Police of GUMVD of Ukraine in Kyiv and OKHMATDET  (St. Nicholas Day 2008). Within the framework of the event, the children in the hospital’s traumatology department injured in traffic accidents were congratulated on St. Nicholas Day and presented with the educational book about observance of the Traffic Rules called 'Mytsyk Adventures' alongside with soft toys and sweet gifts.
